Friday Youth Club

Explore, learn, and grow at our Youth Club. With a mix of arts, crafts, sports, and ad-hoc specialised workshops, participants gain opportunities for leadership, social skills development, and pursuing personal interests. Group activities and peer interactions create a sense of belonging, while discussions and collaborations strengthen teamwork and community spirit. Additionally, the Youth Club promotes positive behaviours and actively works to prevent youth violence and crime by fostering a safe space for open dialogue, building resilience, and equipping young people with the skills and confidence to make positive choices.

YOUTH FORUM: AMPLIFYING YOUTH VOICES

Inspire’s Youth Forum is a dynamic platform where young people come together to shape their community and influence decisions that matter to them. Meeting monthly, the forum empowers young voices to engage in meaningful discussions and drive positive change.

Our members have already made an impact by participating in focus groups that are helping to shape Southwark Council’s adolescent sexual health services and they shared their views and needs in regard to the ongoing Aylesbury Estate regeneration with Social Life.

In addition, youth forum members attend our youth club sessions and speak to other young people so they are able champion young people’s perspectives, ensuring their ideas and concerns are heard and acted upon. This is more than a forum – it’s a movement led by young people, for young people, creating a better future for all.

GROUP TRIPS

Group Trips and Residential Stays

Our group trips are designed to promote mental health, physical health and offer new experiences. These outings to promote physical health, encourage independence, and build adaptability in new environments. Over the years we’ve partnered with other organisations such as London Youth, LEAP – Confronting Conflict, and Community Cycleworks to offer enriching residential trips away.

These trips often take young people beyond the city – whether to the seaside or the countryside – providing many with their first opportunity to explore new surroundings. Participants engage in activities that foster personal growth, develop valuable life skills, and strengthen social bonds. Carefully planned group projects encourage collaboration and a sense of community, leaving lasting memories and a broader perspective on the world.

THEORY OF CHANGE

At Inspire Walworth, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our Theory of Change for Inspire Youth and Inspire to Work outlines how we empower young people aged 11–25 to build confidence, develop essential life skills, and overcome barriers to success. Through creative activities, mentoring, employability support, and safe spaces for growth, we’re fostering a stronger, more inclusive community, while also addressing the prevention of youth violence and crime. By providing guidance, fostering positive relationships, and equipping young people with the skills and resilience to make informed decisions, we help them avoid risky behaviours and navigate challenges in a positive way.
